
The Osage Nation announces preparations for a multi-day 2025 Sovereignty Celebration and Dance. The schedule of events includes a Wahzhazhe Comedy and Fashion Show, State of the Nation Live Stream, Sovereignty Celebration Dance, Osage Nation Health System Sovereignty Fun Walk / Run, Code Talker Museum Talk, and Hand Game, and Bison Feast spanning throughout March.
This annual celebration honors the Osage Nation Constitution ratification that took place on March 11, 2006.
The 2025 Sovereignty Day Celebration Committee includes Andrea Kemble, Jane Perrier, Tim Lookout, and Avis Ballard. All events listed below are free and open to the public.

10 A.M.: Osage Nation Health System Sovereignty Fun Walk / Run
Location: Osage Nation Health Complex, Pawhuska, OK
The run will include a 5-K and 1-mile fun run/walk with NINJA challenges. There will be door prize drawings and medals for the top three male and female placers in five different age categories. Register here.
1 P.M. - 3 P.M.: Osage Cradleboard | E. Sean Standing Bear
